We are seeking passionate and self-motivated individuals to join our research team as Postdoctoral Fellows, PhD Students, and Research Assistants. Multiple fully funded PhD scholarships and postdoctoral fellowships are currently availableFully Funded.

PhD Application

PhD candidates will typically engage in long-term research for 3 years (with a master’s degree) or 4 years (with a bachelor’s degree). Positions are fully supported by research grants. To maximize admission success, applicants are encouraged to apply for the following scholarships:

1. Review the EEE PhD Admission Requirements. Minimum TOEFL 100 / IELTS 6.5 is required.
2. Email your CV, a brief statement of research interests, contact information of at least one referee, and your academic transcripts to yujie.zhang@ntu.edu.sg with the subject line: PhD Application – Name – Affiliation.
3. The next intake will begin in August 2026, with an application deadline in January 2026.

Postdoctoral Positions

Postdoctoral fellows typically work with us for 2–3 years, contributing to innovative research, publishing in top journals, generating new research directions, and mentoring students.

1. We seek outstanding candidates with expertise in antennas, electromagnetics, RF/microwave circuits, or AI-driven electromagnetic design. Strong analytical or experimental skills are advantageous. The selection will primarily consider each applicant’s research record.

3. In addition to NTU-funded positions, applicants are encouraged to apply for prestigious fellowships, including:

Research Assistant

Research Assistants typically work with us for 1–2 years on specific funded projects. Candidates with strong programming, data analysis, or prototyping experience are preferred. Experience with wireless system prototyping (LoRa, Bluetooth, Zigbee, NI USRP, etc.) will be a significant advantage.
